How it works
Simple for you. Simple for anyone who helps.
Two people use Sankat Saathi: you, the owner, and the stranger who finds your car, child, pet or bag. Here's what each of you does.
From scan to family, in under a minute
- 1.Scan the QR
- 2.Choose what happened
- 3.Photo + location
- 4.Family alerted
- 5.Masked call connects
For you, the owner
Set up once, protected always
Buy your Saathi
Choose a sticker for your car, bike, kids, pet or bags. Order on WhatsApp — we deliver across India.
Stick it
Clean the surface, peel and stick. Car stickers go inside the windshield; tags hang on collars and bags.
Activate
Enter the code printed on the sticker on our Activate page or in the owner app.
Add family contacts
Add the people who should be called first. Write a short public message if you like. Change it any time.
For the person who scans
No app. No sign-up. Just help.
Scan
Point any phone camera at the QR. A simple page opens in Hindi or English.
Choose the situation
Tap Emergency / Accident, Wrong Parking, or Found.
Add photo and location
Take a photo and share the location. If location is blocked, type the place name instead.
Call connects
Tap Call family. A masked call connects — nobody sees anyone's number.
Helplines always visible
112, 108, Childline 1098 and Highway 1033 stay on screen, one tap away.
Helper has a keypad phone?
They call the helpline printed on the sticker, enter the extension, and get connected to your family. No internet needed.

Privacy first
Help reaches you. Your number doesn't reach strangers.
We built Sankat Saathi so that being reachable never means being exposed.
Masked calls
Calls go through a private line. Neither side sees the other's number.
Nothing personal on the sticker
The QR only holds a code. No name, no address, no number.
You decide what shows
Pick a short public message, like 'Please call my family'. Change it any time.
Delete any time
Pause your tag or delete your data whenever you want.
Sankat Saathi supports emergency services — it does not replace them. In any danger, call 112 first.
