Sankat Saathi helps a stranger reach your family quickly when something goes wrong. It is not a police, ambulance, fire, medical or rescue service, and it does not send help on its own.

What we can't promise

The Service depends on things outside our control, including:

• the helper choosing to scan and act,
• mobile network coverage and internet access,
• the helper's phone and its permissions (camera, location),
• your emergency contacts' phones being reachable,
• third-party SMS, messaging and calling providers.

Because of this, we can't guarantee that every alert or call will be delivered, or delivered in time.

Location and photos

Location comes from the helper's phone and may be inaccurate. Photos are taken by helpers, not by us. Please use them carefully.

Medical or other information

Any information shown on the scan page is provided by the owner. We do not check it for accuracy.
