Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and TODO: Legal company name (e.g. Sankat Saathi Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) ("Sankat Saathi", "we", "us"). By buying a sticker, activating a tag, scanning a tag, or using our website (https://sankatsaathi.com), you agree to these Terms.

1. What we offer

Sankat Saathi provides QR stickers and tags, a scan page, alerts to emergency contacts, masked calling and a keypad-phone helpline (the "Service"). The Service helps people reach an owner's family. It is not an emergency service. See our Disclaimer.

2. Owners

• You must be at least 18 years old to activate a tag and create an account.
• Give correct information, and keep your emergency contacts up to date.
• Add only people who have agreed to be your emergency contacts.
• Do not put phone numbers, addresses or other private details in your public message.
• You are responsible for placing the sticker where it is visible and safe, and for not covering number plates or blocking the driver's view.
• Keep your account secure. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using it.

3. People who scan

• Use the Service honestly, only to help in a real situation.
• Do not send false alerts, harass owners or their families, or upload offensive or illegal content.
• We may block devices or numbers that misuse the Service and report serious misuse to the authorities.

4. Fair use

Scans, alerts and calls are rate-limited to prevent abuse. Masked calls and helpline calls may have reasonable limits per plan.

5. Plans, service period and renewals

Each plan includes service for the period shown at purchase. After that, you may renew. If you don't renew, the tag may be paused; we will remind you before this happens.

6. Orders, payments and refunds

Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. See our Refund & Return Policy and Shipping Policy.

7. Availability

We work to keep the Service available 24×7, but it depends on mobile networks, internet, phones, and third-party providers. We cannot guarantee that every scan, alert, SMS or call will always go through instantly.

8. Our content and brand

The Sankat Saathi name, logo, designs, website content and software belong to us. You may not copy, resell or make fake stickers or tags.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for losses caused by network failures, wrong contact details, misuse by others, or delays by emergency services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the plan in question.

10. Suspension and ending

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Jodhpur, Rajasthan will have jurisdiction.
